Upon Howard S. Wright’s completion of the Wilder Quarry House project, a Grand Opening celebration was held for over 300 guests on-site. Those in attendance included Owner Representatives from Brooks Street and Farallon Capital Management, and several from Howard S. Wright, along with many potential home buyers.

The Wilder Quarry House is an 11,000 sf ground-up clubhouse, and built-in pool and pavilion, situated in a newly planned community development for 245 private estates. Located in the Orinda hills, the 1,600-acre site will maintain 1,300 acres of open space.

During the final months of construction, the project endured several rain storms, presenting a challenge in plastering the pool. Just days before the Grand Opening, it was necessary to erect a tent over the pool, equal to the size of a football field, amidst gale-force winds, enabling over 100 workers to finish the job. Howard S. Wright managed this process seamlessly and the project was a great success.
