Bell Helicopter Simulator Facility

Our firm was hired by Bell Helicopter Textron to retrofit an existing high-bay automated warehouse, at MCAS Camp Pendleton, into a facility to house two helicopter flight training simulators.  Our work included retrofitting the structural steel frame of the building and installing new MEP systems for the sophisticated equipment required for these simulators.  HSW was able to maintain the schedule for installation of the simulators even though there was a major re-design of the HVAC system at the start of construction.
