Coffee Bean International

HSW converted this warehouse space into a 135,000 sf manufacturing facility and headquarters for Coffee Bean International, a specialty coffee company. The space includes production, packaging, shipping, office space, and showroom areas. The majority of the space is a large open floor to accommodate the specialty roasting equipment and packing machinery. To accommodate office space and conference areas, our team built a 10,000 sf mezzanine which is accessed from a floating staircase in the main lobby. An open balcony looks out from the glass-walled conference room onto the manufacturing floor.

This project incorporates many green features such as planters that capture rainwater, low VOC paints and adhesives, and reuse of sustainable local lumber. The project is LEED Silver certified.
