Future of Flight

This 2-story, 67,903 sf aviation museum and tour center overlooks the main runway of Paine Field.  Aircraft is on display in a huge outdoor exhibition area that serves as the approach to the building’s entrance.  The multi-angled museum features an architectural concrete exterior with ceramic fritted curtain wall glazing and metal panel siding, and presents a distinctive view from each side.  Visitors enter the 2-level building through a 33’ high glass wall that leads into the main lobby.  Upper level interior spaces include a state-of-the-art theatre with a high definition digital projector, a cafe, two gift shops totaling 4,800 sf and a conference/administration wing.
