Hotel Andra (Claremont Hotel)

HSW renovated the Claremont Hotel in downtown Seattle.  Our team turned this 1926 property into a boutique hotel that features much of the hotel’s historic charm but adds many modern amenities and design features.  The scope of this renovation includes the lobby, ballroom, existing restaurant, public spaces and all 119 guestrooms.  Our team also added another restaurant.  Aside from new flooring, painting, fixtures and furnishings, we upgraded the electrical and life safety systems.  The guestrooms which are large and average 450 sf each features a 4-pipe HVAC systems that takes advantage of the easily controlled Seattle steam for heat.  To cool the rooms we installed a chiller on the roof.  23 one-bedroom suites and five ADA-accessible rooms will be available upon completion.  All of the upgrades will give the Claremont new life as a charming overnight destination.

HSW returned again to the currently-named Hotel Andra to reconfigure the existing administrative spaces for new guest facilities which included a  144 sf business center and a 400 sf fitness center.  Included was also a remodel of 2,100 sf of executive office space and expanded the IT room.
