Hotel Lucia

The Hotel Lucia offers a unique alternative to the typical hotel experience. The boutique hotel’s guest rooms boast personal luxuries such as data ports, speakerphones and state-of-the art televisions. An extensive preconstruction effort led to adding nine electrical circuits per floor while maintaining the existing feeder system, resulting in a cost-effective upgrade of the electrical system. The scope of work included the re-roofing and remodel of 128 guest rooms, the lobby and restaurant. Howard S. Wright used the latest in contemporary finishes including: Sapele woodwork, limestone flooring, stainless steel accents, and custom-made glass countertops and sinks. Throughout most of the renovation, a restaurant on the ground floor remained open for business.
