Lynnwood Convention Center

Lynnwood’s new convention center is located on the site of the old Alderwood Village Shopping Center.  This 55,000 sf convention and meeting facility is a 2-story, steel-frame structure with metal panel and glass curtainwall on the exterior.  The building includes a complete kitchen build out, space for exhibit halls, ballrooms and meeting rooms.

The building rests on a 140,000 sf site and is placed close to the street to create easy access and a “people friendly” presence.  Located on an important corner with high visibility and easy access to the freeways, it’s designed with an inviting and distinctive glass face to draw people in and create a striking visual from farther away.

HSW coordinated parking and access to businesses throughout construction and was responsible for phasing in parking area repairs and improvements – keeping the area safe and accessible to customers and tenants.
