Mittleman Jewish Community Center & Portland Jewish Academy

What started out as a renovation to the Portland Jewish Academy, grew into a 100,000 sf renovation and 12,000 sf expansion to include the athletic facilities, child care area, K-12 school, pool and locker rooms, meeting spaces, lobby area and the auditorium.
 
All of HSW’s work was completed on a fully occupied school and community campus. This phased renovation involved extensive mechanical, electrical and plumbing upgrades as well as bringing the building up to current codes. Our scope of work also included a new entry to the educational building and the expansion of administrative areas, which include new offices for the schools director, principal and reception area.
