Sir Francis Drake Hotel

This project involved the renovation of a historic 1926 hotel, containing 417 guestrooms, two prominent restaurants, and two retail spaces. The hotel encompasses approximately 237,000 sf in 23 stories, a basement, and a sub-basement.

The Phase I renovation included updating the guestrooms and bathrooms, as well as the guestroom fire sprinkler and plumbing systems. New finishes included floor and wall tile, painting, fixtures, and TV cabling. We also provided new HVAC, replaced existing double-hung windows, and renovated four elevators.

Phase II included installation of the lobby bar, addition of an ADA lobby desk, remodel of the business center, remodel of the lower lobby bathroom, an elevator upgrade, repairs to the lobby HVAC, and the build-out of a fitness center and spa.
