Southwest Washington Medical Center – Kearney Breast Center

HSW completed the interior demolition and reconstruction of 11,000 sf on the fourth floor in the Physicians Pavilion over an eight month period. Holes were cut into the building roof to accommodate large structural steel beams to be craned in from the Emergency Department entry into the space, and eventually for the installation of new skylights. Structural steel welding occurred in the ceiling space of the tenants below.

The air handler serving the building was required to be shut down to accommodate the main return duct to be rerouted for the elevated ceilings within the Kearney Conference Room. An extensive amount of plumbing lines were re-routed in the ceiling space of the tenants below to serve the new space.

All of this work required close, advanced coordination with the building facilities and adjacent tenants. High-end finishes throughout the space required high quality craftsmanship to ensure perfect installation.
