The Edge Building

The Edge, located in Portland’s Pearl District, is an 11-story, mixed-use building. The Edge is the home of the LEED Gold REI store built by Howard S. Wright, which occupies two floors of retail at the base of the building. The tower section includes approximately 125 units of upscale loft living.

Features that make this contemporary building unique include a custom designed structurally glazed curtainwall on the tower and a distinctive mesh cladding on the garage. The building frame was built with conventional and post-tensioned concrete.  The residential portion makes up floors 5-11.  The parking is comprised of a full city block below grade and 4 levels above grade.
