The Eliot Tower
The Eliot Tower was the fourth project Howard S. Wright built in the Museum Place South Development in Portland’s West end. The 470,000 sf mixed-use building features retail at the base, a below-grade parking structure and 183 living units in the tower.
The 18-story superstructure is constructed of cast-in-place, post tensioned concrete. The exterior closure consists mainly of a high-quality unitized curtainwall system that is of a pressure-equalized rain screen design which greatly reduces potential water infiltration.
