Toyota Terminal 4

This distribution center for Toyota Motor Sales is the first stop for many vehicles once they enter the United States. The project included adding four major structures at Terminal 4: the PPO administration and parts building; the body and maintenance shop; the final quality assurance building; and the car wash building.
The 68,000 sf PPO building is a one-story high-bay building that has space for the main offices, conference rooms, a break room with limited kitchen, locker rooms and a large parts storage area. The 20,000 sf body and maintenance shop is a steel frame structure with metal siding and exposed interiors. The 7,500 sf final quality assurance building and the 5,000 sf car wash are the final stopping points for vehicles before they leave for the showroom floor.
