Track Repave at Phoenix International Raceway

Howard S. Wright completed this $12.5M design-build project at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR).  The scope of work included the demolition of existing asphalt and concrete barrier walls, earthwork, asphalt paving, re-banking of the back stretch and re-paving of the entire racetrack. Two new under track pedestrian tunnels were also installed for fan access to the infield areas. This project represents our ninth significant project for NASCAR Racetracks since 2002.
