UC Davis Sciences Laboratory Building

The sciences building is a state-of-the art environment for undergraduate learning in biology and chemistry.  The 3-story building utilized braced steel construction, and has a precast and glass exterior skin with tile and single ply roofing.  The facility houses 24 wet teaching labs for the Division of Biological Sciences and 10 wet teaching labs for the Department of Chemistry.  The building features a large greenhouse built into the third floor and a basement.  A second building in this project houses a 500-seat lecture hall, one of the largest on campus.  The lecture hall is 12,000 sf, featuring tiered seating and a tile roof.
