UC Hastings College of the Law

The UC Hastings College of the Law is a 7-story facility with first floor retail (10,000 sf) and six elevated floors for vehicle parking.  A pile foundation supports the post tensioned concrete structure. The first floor retail is enclosed by aluminum frame storefront glazing system. The exterior structure consists of plaster on metal framing,ceramic tile over plaster, glass curtain wall, CMU, metal louvers, architectural aluminum tube extrusions, and painted architectural concrete.  Coordinating tight site logistics and maintaining public safety were critical aspects of delivering this project.
